Biography of Hans-Joachim Rotzsch

Hans-Joachim Rotzsch (* 25. April 1929 in Leipzig; † 25. September 2013 in Leipzig) was a deutscher Kantor, Chorleiter, Tenor und Thomaskantor. He was 84 years old. His education included University of Music and Theatre Leipzig and Musisches Gymnasium. He worked at Leipzig University and Mozarteum University Salzburg. He was awarded the National Prize of East Germany. He was buried at Leipzig South Cemetery.
