Heinrich Louis d’Arrest (* 13. July 1822 in Berlin; † 14. June 1875 in Copenhagen) was a deutsch-dänischer Astronom. He was 52 years old. His education included Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Leipzig University. He worked at University of Copenhagen and Leipzig University. His faith was Huguenots. His awards include Gold Medal of the Royal Astronomical Society and Lalande Prize. He was buried at Assistens Cemetery.
