Biography of Helena Nieć

Helena Nieć (* 4. April 1894 in Sarajevo; † 4. November 1979 in Poznań) was a polish botanist. She was 85 years old. She studied at Jagiellonian University. She worked at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Her awards include Decoration for Services to the Red Cross, Gold Cross of Merit with Swords (1992) and Knight of the Order of Polonia Restituta. She was buried at Górczyński Cemetery.
