Herbert Baxter Adams (* 16. April 1850 in Shutesbury; † 30. July 1901 in Amherst) was an uS-amerikanischer Historiker und Hochschullehrer. He was 51 years old. His education included Amherst College, Heidelberg University and Phillips Exeter Academy. He worked at Johns Hopkins University. He was awarded the Legum Doctor. He was buried at Wildwood Cemetery.
