Biography of Herbert Pilch

Herbert Pilch (* 13. February 1927 in Znamensk; † 19. April 2018) was a deutscher Sprachwissenschaftler, Keltologe und Politiker (ÖDP). He was 91 years old. He worked at University of Freiburg, Goethe University Frankfurt and University of Cologne. His awards include Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, honorary doctor of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University and honorary doctor of the University of St Andrews.
