Biography of Herbert Spencer Gasser

Herbert Spencer Gasser (* 5. July 1888 in Platteville; † 11. May 1963 in New York City) was an uS-amerikanischer Neurophysiologe. He was 74 years old. His education included University of Wisconsin–Madison, Johns Hopkins University and Platteville High School. He worked at Washington University in St. Louis and The Rockefeller University. He received 4 awards, including Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Foreign Member of the Royal Society. He was buried at Greenwood Cemetery.
