Biography of Hermann Brück

Hermann Brück (* 15. August 1905 in Berlin; † 4. March 2000 in Edinburgh) was a deutscher Astronom. He was 94 years old. He was married to Mary Brück. His education included University of Bonn, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Ludwig Cauer primary school and Kiel University. He worked at University of Edinburgh, Einstein Tower, Vatican Observatory, Cambridge Observatory and Dunsink Observatory. His awards include Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St. Gregory the Great and Commander of the Order of the British Empire. He was buried at Burial Ground, Mortonhall House, Frogston Road East, Edinburgh.
