Homer A. Thompson (* 7. September 1906 in Devlin; † 7. May 2000 in Hightstown) was an uS-amerikanischer Klassischer Archäologe kanadischer Herkunft. He was 93 years old. He was married to Dorothy Burr Thompson. His education included University of Michigan and University of British Columbia. He worked at Institute for Advanced Study, American School of Classical Studies at Athens and University of Toronto. He received 5 awards, including doctor honoris causa from the University of Lyon, Gold Medal of the Archaeological Institute of America. He was buried at West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
