Biography of Ian Sneddon

Ian Sneddon (* 8. December 1919 in Glasgow; † 4. November 2000 in Glasgow) was a britischer Mathematiker. He was 80 years old. His education included University of Glasgow, Thornwood Primary School, Hyndland Secondary School and University of Cambridge. He worked at Ministry of Supply, University of Bristol, University of Glasgow and University of Keele. He received 8 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Eringen Medal.
