Japanese mathematician who pioneered stochastic calculus
Kiyoshi Itō (* 7. September 1915 in Hokusei-cho-ageki, Inabe; † 10. November 2008 in Kyoto) was a japanese mathematician who pioneered stochastic calculus. He was 93 years old. He studied at University of Tokyo. He received 8 awards, including Imperial Prize of Japan Academy, Asahi Prize.
