Ivan Lichter (* 14. March 1918 in Oudtshoorn; † 12. June 2009 in Auckland) was a new Zealand surgeon and palliative care pioneer. He was 91 years old. He studied at University of the Witwatersrand. He worked at University of Otago. He was awarded the Order of New Zealand.
