Ivan Samchuk (* 20. December 1912 in Spaso-Mazharivka; † 6. December 1988 in Moscow) was a soviet military leader, Red Army guards colonel, memoirist. He was 75 years old. His education included Baku Military Infantry School named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze and Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia. He worked at Semenov Institute of Chemical Physics. He received 5 awards, including Medal "For the Defence of Kyiv", Order of the Red Banner.
