Biography of Ivar Giæver

Ivar Giæver (* 5. April 1929 in Bergen; † 20. June 2025 in Schenectady) was a norwegian-American physicist. He was 96 years old. He had 4 children. His education included Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Norwegian Institute of Technology, Clare Hall and Hamar Cathedral School. His faith was atheism. He received 6 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Gunnerus Medal.
