Biography of Jack Layton

Jack Layton (* 18. July 1950 in Montreal; † 22. August 2011 in Toronto) was a leader of the New Democratic Party of Canada. He was 61 years old. He was married to Olivia Chow. He had 2 children. His education included McGill University, York University and Westwood High School Senior Campus. He was awarded the Canadian Newsmaker of the Year. His cause of death was cancer. He was buried at Toronto Islands.
