Jacques-Louis Lions (* 2. May 1928 in Grasse; † 17. May 2001 in Neuilly-sur-Seine) was a französischer Mathematiker. He was 73 years old. His education included École Normale Supérieure, Université de Nancy, Science Faculty of Paris and Lycée Masséna. He worked at Collège de France, Université de Nancy, University of Paris and École polytechnique. He received 10 awards, including Harvey Prize, honorary doctor of the University of Madrid Complutense.
