James Macdonald (* 8. February 1862 in Aberdeen; † 27. June 1927) was a scottish engineer, explorer and cartographer. He was 65 years old. His education included University of Aberdeen and Aberdeen Grammar School. He was awarded the Knight Commander of the Order of the Indian Empire.
