Jean Gaudemet (* 10. September 1908 in Dijon; † 17. May 2001 in Paris) was a französischer Rechtshistoriker. He was 92 years old. He studied at University of Strasbourg. He worked at Grenoble Alpes University, University of Strasbourg, Panthéon-Assas University Paris and École pratique des hautes études. He received 10 awards, including Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts order, honorary doctor of the Jagiellonian University of Krakow.
