Jean Jacques Dortous de Mayran (* 26. November 1678 in Béziers; † 20. February 1771 in Paris) was a französischer Geophysiker. He was 92 years old. He studied at University of Toulouse (1896-1968). His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society, Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and Member of the French Academy of Sciences. His cause of death was pneumonia.
