Biography of Jerzy Neyman

Jerzy Neyman (* 16. April 1894 in Bender; † 5. August 1981 in Oakland) was a polnischer Mathematiker und Autor. He was 87 years old. His education included University of Warsaw, National University of Kharkiv, University College London and University of Paris. He worked at University of California, Berkeley, University College London and Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, Polish Academy of Sciences. He received 8 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Wilks Memorial Award.
