Biography of Joan Thirsk

Joan Thirsk (* 19. June 1922 in St Pancras; † 3. October 2013 in Pembury) was a britische Historikerin. She was 91 years old. Her education included University of Oxford, The Camden School for Girls and Westfield College. She worked at London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Leicester and University of Oxford. She received 4 awards, including Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Fellow of the British Academy.
