Biography of John Abbott

John Abbott (* 12. March 1821 in Saint-André-Est; † 30. October 1893 in Montreal) was a dritter Premierminister von Kanada. He was 72 years old. He was married to Mary Bethune Abbott. He studied at McGill University Faculty of Law. He worked at McGill University. His faith was Anglicanism. His awards include Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George and Person of National Historic Significance. His cause of death was brain cancer. He was buried at Mount Royal Cemetery.
