Biography of John C. Slater

John C. Slater (* 22. December 1900 in Oak Park; † 25. July 1976 in Sanibel) was an amerikanischer Physiker und theoretischer Chemiker. He was 75 years old. He was married to Rose Mooney-Slater. His education included Harvard University and University of Rochester. He worked at University of Florida, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University. He received 6 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, National Medal of Science.
