Biography of John Carey

John Carey (* 5. April 1934 in Barnes; † 11. December 2025) was a britischer Literaturhistoriker und -kritiker. He was 91 years old. His education included St John's College and Richmond Park Academy. He worked at University of Oxford. His awards include James Tait Black Memorial Prize, Fellow of the British Academy and Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
