John Kenneth Galbraith (* 15. October 1908 in Iona Station; † 29. April 2006 in Cambridge) was a canadian-American economist and diplomat. He was 97 years old. He was married to Catherine Galbraith. His education included University of Toronto, University of California, Berkeley and Ontario Agricultural College. He received 10 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, The Hillman Prize for Book Journalism. He was buried at Indian Hill Cemetery.
