John Macdonald (* 11. January 1815 in Glasgow; † 6. June 1891 in Ottawa) was an erster Premierminister von Kanada (1867–1873, 1878–1891). He was 76 years old. He was married to Isabella Macdonald and Susan Agnes Macdonald. He had at least 2 children (1 son and 1 daughter). He studied at Kingston Collegiate and Vocational Institute. His faith was Presbyterianism. His awards include Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath and Person of National Historic Significance. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Cataraqui Cemetery.
