Biography of John Wesley Powell

John Wesley Powell (* 24. March 1834 in Mount Morris; † 23. September 1902 in North Haven) was an uS-amerikanischer Forscher. He was 68 years old. He was married to Emma Dean Powell. He had at least 1 child (1 daughter). His education included Oberlin College, Illinois College and Wheaton College. He worked at United States Geological Survey, Smithsonian Institution, Illinois Wesleyan University and Illinois State University. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
