Biography of Jonathan Borwein

Jonathan Borwein (* 20. May 1951 in St Andrews; † 2. August 2016 in London) was a kanadischer Mathematiker. He was 65 years old. His education included Jesus College and University of Oxford. He worked at Dalhousie University, Simon Fraser University, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Waterloo and University of Newcastle. He received 8 awards, including Rhodes Scholarship, Chauvenet Prize.
