Joshua Lederberg (* 23. May 1925 in Montclair; † 2. February 2008 in New York City) was an american molecular biologist. He was 82 years old. He was married to Esther Lederberg. His education included Columbia University, Yale University, Stuyvesant High School and University of Wisconsin–Madison. He received 9 awards, including Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Presidential Medal of Freedom. His cause of death was pneumonia.
