Biography of Joyce Ackroyd

Joyce Ackroyd (* 23. November 1918 in Newcastle; † 30. August 1991 in Auchenflower) was an australian academic, translator, author and editor.. She was 72 years old. Her education included University of Cambridge and University of Sydney. She worked at Australian National University and University of Queensland. Her awards include Officer of the Order of the British Empire, Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities and Order of the Precious Crown.
