Biography of Juri Petrowitsch Schtschekotschichin

Yuri Shchekochikhin (* 9. June 1950 in Ganja; † 3. July 2003 in Moscow) was a russian journalist. He was 53 years old. He studied at MSU Faculty of Journalism. His awards include Medal "In Commemoration of the 850th Anniversary of Moscow", Medal "Defender of a Free Russia" and January 13th commemorative medal. His cause of death was poison. He was buried at Peredelkino Cemetery.
