Biography of Jurik Wartanowitsch Arutjunjan

Jurik Wartanowitsch Arutjunjan (* 20. August 1929 in Rostov-on-Don; † 26. June 2016 in Moscow) was a russian scientist. He was 86 years old. He studied at Armenian State Pedagogical University. He worked at Institute of History of the Soviet Academy of Sciences, Lomonosov Moscow State University and N.N. Miklukho-Maklai Institute of Anthropology and Ethnography RAS. He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honour. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
