Biography of Kamisese Mara

Kamisese Mara (* 6. May 1920 in Fiji; † 18. April 2004 in Suva) was a president of Fiji. He was 83 years old. He was married to Ro Litia Cakobau Lalabalvu Katoafutoga Tuisawau. He had at least 2 children (1 son and 1 daughter). His education included Wadham College, London School of Economics and Political Science, Sacred Heart College, Auckland and University of Otago. He received 7 awards, including Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George. His cause of death was stroke.
