Klaus Fuchs (* 29. December 1911 in Rüsselsheim am Main; † 28. January 1988 in East Berlin) was a deutsch-britischer Kernphysiker, sowjetischer „Atomspion. He was 76 years old. He was married to Grete Keilson. His education included Leipzig University, Kiel University, Frederick William University Berlin and University of Bristol. He worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Atomic Energy Research Establishment, Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, University of Birmingham and University of Edinburgh. He received 4 awards, including Order of Karl Marx, Patriotic Order of Merit. He was buried at The Socialists' Memorial.
