Biography of Klaus Groth

Klaus Groth (* 24. April 1819 in Heide; † 1. June 1899 in Kiel) was a niederdeutscher Lyriker und Schriftsteller. He was 80 years old. He was married to Doris Groth. He had at least 3 children (3 sons). He studied at Teachers' seminar. He worked at Kiel University. His faith was Protestantism. He received 8 awards, including Schiller prize, honorary doctor of the University of Bonn. His cause of death was pneumonia. He was buried at Südfriedhof.
