Biography of Kōsaku Yosida

Kōsaku Yosida (* 7. February 1909 in Hiroshima; † 20. June 1990 in Tokyo) was a japanischer Mathematiker. He was 81 years old. His education included University of Tokyo and University of Osaka. He worked at University of Tokyo, University of Osaka, Nagoya University, Kyoto University, University of Washington, Institute for Advanced Study and Gakushuin University. His awards include Fujihara Award, Imperial Prize of Japan Academy and Officer of the French Order of Academic Palms.
