Biography of Lionel Tertis

Lionel Tertis (* 29. December 1876 in West Hartlepool; † 22. February 1975 in London) was an englischer Bratschist. He was 98 years old. His education included Royal Academy of Music and University of Music and Theatre Leipzig. He worked at Royal Academy of Music. His awards include Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Royal Philharmonic Society Gold Medal and Walter Willson Cobbett Medal.
