Biography of Louis d’Orléans, duc de Nemours

Louis d’Orléans, duc de Nemours (* 25. October 1814 in Palais-Royal; † 26. June 1896 in Versailles) was a herzog von Nemours sowie französischer Generalleutnant und Brigadegeneral. He was 81 years old. He was married to Prinzessin Victoria, Herzogin zu Nemours. He had at least 4 children (2 sons and 2 daughters). He studied at Lycée Henri-IV. His faith was Catholic Church. His awards include Knight of the Order of the Holy Spirit, Knight of the Order of Saint-Michel and Knight of the Order of the Golden Fleece. He was buried at Dreux Royal Chapel.
