Biography of Lucille Clifton

Lucille Clifton (* 27. June 1936 in Depew; † 13. February 2010 in Baltimore) was an uS-amerikanische Schriftstellerin und Hochschullehrerin. She was 73 years old. Her education included Howard University, State University of New York at Fredonia, City Honors School and Fosdick-Masten Park High School. She worked at Columbia University, University of California, Santa Cruz and Coppin State University. She received 9 awards, including National Book Award, Langston Hughes Medal.
