Biography of Lukas Foss

Lukas Foss (* 15. August 1922 in Berlin; † 1. February 2009 in Manhattan) was an american composer. He was 86 years old. He was married to Cornelia Foss. His education included University at Buffalo, Curtis Institute of Music, Harvard University and Yale University. He received 5 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Rome Prize. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
