Biography of Marian Marsh Torrey

Marian Marsh Torrey (* 9. December 1893 in Malden; † 16. September 1971) was a ph.D. from Cornell University in 1924 on "Classifications of Monoidal Involutions Having a Fixed Tangent Cone" supervised by Virgil Snyder. She was 77 years old. She studied at Cornell University. She worked at West Virginia University, University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign and Goucher College.
