Martin Lewis Perl (* 24. June 1927 in Manhattan; † 30. September 2014 in Palo Alto) was an american scientist. He was 87 years old. His education included Columbia University, New York University Tandon School of Engineering, United States Merchant Marine Academy and James Madison High School. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship, Nobel Prize in Physics and Wolf Prize in Physics. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
