Biography of Max Born

Max Born (* 11. December 1882 in Wrocław; † 5. January 1970 in Göttingen) was a deutscher Mathematiker und Physiker, Nobelpreisträger für Physik. He was 87 years old. He was married to Hedwig Born. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included University of Göttingen, Heidelberg University, University of Wrocław, University of Zurich and Gonville and Caius College. He worked at Goethe University Frankfurt, University of Göttingen, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and University of Edinburgh. His faith was Judaism. He received 9 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Great Cross with Star and Sash of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. He was buried at Göttingen City Cemetery.
