Biography of Michael Baxandall

Michael Baxandall (* 18. August 1933 in Cardiff; † 12. August 2008 in London) was a britischer Kunsthistoriker und Hochschullehrer. He was 74 years old. He studied at Downing College. He worked at University of California, Berkeley, Cornell University, Victoria and Albert Museum and Warburg Institute. He received 4 awards, including MacArthur Fellows Program, Aby Warburg Prize. His cause of death was pneumonia.
