Biography of Miroslav Marcovich

Miroslav Marcovich (* 18. March 1919 in Belgrade; † 14. June 2001 in Urbana) was an uS-amerikanischer Klassischer Philologe jugoslawischer Herkunft. He was 82 years old. His education included University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy and University of Belgrade. He worked at University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign, University of Michigan, Visva-Bharati University, University of the Andes, University of Bonn and University of Cambridge. He was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship.
