Mobutu Sese Seko (* 14. October 1930 in Lisala; † 7. September 1997 in Rabat) was a congolese politician and military officer, the first and only president of Zaire from 1971 to 1997 (1930 – 1997). He was 66 years old. He was married to Bobi Ladawa Mobutu and Marie-Antoinette Gbiatibwa Gogbe Mobutu. He studied at Collège du Léman. His faith was Catholic Church. He received 7 awards, including Collar of the Order of Isabella the Catholic, Commander of the Legion of Merit. His cause of death was prostate cancer.
