Biography of Noboru Karashima

Noboru Karashima (* 24. April 1933 in Keijō; † 26. November 2015 in Tokyo) was a japanischer Historiker, Schriftsteller und Hochschullehrer. He was 82 years old. His education included University of Tokyo and Kanagawa Prefectural Shonan High School. He worked at University of Tokyo, Taisho University, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and Open University of Japan. He received 4 awards, including Padma Shri in literature and education, Person of Cultural Merit.
