Biography of Norbert Brainin

Norbert Brainin (* 12. March 1923 in Vienna; † 10. April 2005 in London) was a österreichisch-britischer Violinist und Hochschullehrer. He was 82 years old. He worked at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. His awards include Officer of the Order of the British Empire, Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and Walter Willson Cobbett Medal. He was buried at Harrow Cemetery.
