Biography of Noreen Murray

Noreen Murray (* 26. February 1935 in Lancashire; † 12. May 2011 in Edinburgh) was a british molecular biologist. She was 76 years old. Her education included University of Birmingham, King's College London and Lancaster Girls' Grammar School. She worked at University of Edinburgh, Stanford University and University of Cambridge. She received 4 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Commander of the Order of the British Empire. Her cause of death was amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
