Biography of Osamu Ikeuchi

Osamu Ikeuchi (* 25. November 1940 in Himeji; † 30. August 2019) was a japanese scholar of German literature and essayist. He was 78 years old. His education included University of Tokyo, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and Himeji Nishi High School. He worked at University of Tokyo, Tokyo Metropolitan University and Kobe University. He received 5 awards, including prix des arts et sciences Takeo Kuwabara, Kamei Katsuichirō Prize. His cause of death was heart failure.
