Biography of Patrick Geddes

Patrick Geddes (* 2. October 1854 in Ballater; † 17. April 1932 in Montpellier) was a schottischer Biologe und Botaniker; auch als Soziologe und Stadtplaner tätig. He was 77 years old. He was married to Anna Geddes. He had at least 2 children (1 son and 1 daughter). His education included Royal School of Mines, Imperial College London and Perth Academy. He worked at University of Dundee, University of Edinburgh and University of St Andrews. He was awarded the Knight Bachelor.
